What I like:
Small & cozy so were all close.

Not as much to clean.

Close to store.

Carpet. 

We can paint. 

I like our basement & storage.

What I dont like:

That theres people under us and the kids dont walk the run and stomp and they dont talk they yell.
Spencer talked to the lady underneath us and she said she doesnt care, she has grandkids and her dog is probably more annoying but still haha.

-One bathroom.

-Theres no lights except for the kitchen and bathroom. Had to go to St. Vincent to buy some cheap lamps. 

-Every single room has a different control for heat? And we never get it right.

-I hate apartment outlets. 

(I also hate that balloon lamp in the kids room but it was Spencers and he likes it)

Both:

Small, weird, washer and dryer. The washer seems like it washed too fast. I feel like it cant really be cleaning the stuff that fast lol. BUT whats nice about it is the loads are so small once they are dry I just carry them to the right bedroom and put the 5 pieces of clothes away. I dont have to fold or any of that crap that I hate. Also the dryer heats the ENTIRE PLACE. Its like a damn sauna in the kitchen when its on. 

Our shower. The shower works good but the drain sucks weve tried 3 things to fix it, next step is to call management. Also he faucet leaks but whatever. 

Mailboxes that arent lock...but then I realized I have never had a locked mailbox in my life until our last house so this is actually not weird haha

We have a dishwasher. But I still do the dishes by hand and use the dishwasher as a drying rack. I dont trust it to clean my dishes how I want them cleaned yet. 

SO anyway...

Still need to finish our room and the dining room.
Ill probably paint & do our room tomorrow.

I also started my black&white picture wall but I need to order NEW pictures. Most of them were the kids as babies. 

Ill do a picture post soon.

Still not sure when a real post will come.

Yesterday we drove to a trail and took a couple pictures of me in my wedding dress. I really wanted snow pictures haha. Alikah played and Harper slept most of the time. We kind of had to hurry because I have Heather's camera but no charger and it was saying low battery. But right now it says no battery, but is still taking pictures, so who knows.
Tomorrow were all going to Waukesha. Spencer works at the hospital and me and the kids are going to my parents. At 1:30 my mom, Heather and I are going to my Grandma's old house. To go through everything.

Well tag everything we want to keep, then the rest is going to Goodwill. I think Im going to cry. But Im trying to look on the bright side - we do still need a lot of stuff for our house, and we dont have the money for it right now. Her house looks like it was barely lived in since she spent most of her time in Florida. We need couches, a bunch of tables (mainly end tables/storage), patio furniture. If she has any photo albums I want them all. Lamps. Decorations. She had a bunch of dolls. Maybe Alikah would like some. I dont know.

Then on Friday we will have to get a U-Haul to pack and bring everything up here. One of Spencers friends or my dad will help us.I need to figure out what we are doing for Alikah's 3rd birthday! I want to see if we can go to the Dells again because I know she loves that.

Okay so

Today I got the bathroom all organized, all our clothes put away and a bunch of other randoms un-packed. Still have so much to do and now since I was working on the other rooms, the play room and living room are a mess haha. And Harper ate some MumMums for the first time. He LOVED them! (Like he does all food.) It was so cute and now I know Im definitely going to go ahead and buy him some baby puffs and other snackies. He is such a little chunker.

Speaking of Harper I havent done his 6 month update yet! Ah. He gets SO CLOSE to crawling sometimes. He is trying so hard. Its adorable :) Alikah has a cold. Shes acting fine but her eyes keep watering and her nose is runny. We think Harper is getting it now too, but he might just be getting more teeth.

Yesterday's Target trip was a success, Kohl's was a total fail because the returns line was ridiculous! We have to go to a Baptism class at Spencer's church Thursday so we are going to go back then. Tomorrow I am hoping to get either almost the rest OR all of it put away.

I am sore!! My back and legs hurt. Vacuuming and sweeping the ceiling, swiffering, washing, scrubbing, moving boxes, lifting, etc. The base boards in every room have this little 1-2 cm ledge on them and since the house is old and also hasnt been lived in/was just remodeled a bit Im guessing they havent been cleaned in awhile. So, Ive been cleaning them. These tiny stupid little ledges drive me insane. But, I try to squat the whole time to work my legs. I dont always make it down a whole wall, but I have definitely felt it some days.
I was planning on joining a gym up here, we have a tiny one in town or a 24/7 one not too far away but I was thinking about it last night and I think since I usually just run at the gym and do everything else at home, Im just going to start running outside. I have to try it first though and see how bad it messes with my asthma, but that is my plan for now. Im not starting to work out again until after were all un-packed because that is enough work out for me right now. I am tired.

Moving Day!

We have been moving boxes for week now and brought all our Christmas presents, but today is Moving Truck day! All our furniture will be going up :) Sooo exciting! I cant wait to start organizing everything and making it our home!

We still need to wait a few days to get a new fridge but until then I think were going to put some stuff in coolers and keep them either in our mudroom (its freezing in there!) or maybe even outside. Who knows.

I got the upstairs clean but I still need to do the whole first floor. So well set up stuff upstairs first while I get the rest cleaned.

We have the truck til Friday and we need to grab some stuff from my parents also. (A rocking chair, some dressers.)
I also need to bring the vacuum back to our apartment once and vacuum it all before we leave.

Lots to do!!

Ill do a Christmas post eventually. Maybe. Me right this second: Dying. Packing, packing, packing. We are going to our house today (Ill sleep on the way...maybe) so we can bring some more boxes and I can CLEAN! And then we have to pick Alikah up at 6 and go to Spencer's parents for more Christmas! I am exhausted. But its okay. I love my life right now.

House progress

Yesterday I wiped out all the kitchen cabinets and started putting stuff away. There are so many shelves. So many. I already know I am going to re-arrange everything. Like 10 times. Plus until I bring a step stool there, I cant even reach past the 2nd shelf on the higher cabinets haha.

My Mazda is still not registered but today Spencer drove it (packed with boxes) and me and the kids followed him in case he got pulled over. He didnt. So Mazda is hanging out in our garage now. Got our cable and internet installed! Ya! I would have internet installed before we are even actually living there.

I cleaned Alikah's bedroom and the bathroom. It took me over 4 hours. Ugh.
The windows and radiators. Ugh. So time consuming. The windows are brand new and will be super easy to clean from now on it was just that first time that took forever. Im still not happy with them...I am going to clean them with Qtips. I dont even want to think about it. Fkn OCD. And Im sitting here tired as fuck goggling "how to clean radiators" lol.

Spencer pulled Harper and Alikah around on a sled like this for awhile. They both loved it :) We have a couple inches of snow up there. It snowed more after this and was still snowing when we left!I shoulda gone out and taken better pictures. Next time...

Anyway we left at 6:30 and came back to the apartment. I made cookies. Wrapped a few more gifts. Im excited for tomorrow and Christmas morning especially!
Next week Monday or Wednesday well get a moving truck. I cant wait to be all moved in! I love love love it.

Our new House!!!

upstairs hallway, all 3 bedrooms and big bathroom up stairsin love with this bathroom.living room. french doors open into another room that we will use as an office/playroom.
We are in love! Im going back tomorrow with Heather and the kids to bring the first load of boxes and clean a tiny bit.
Its in a tiny less than 2,000 population town, totally cute and reminds us both of Up North. The people we are renting/buying from are so nice and helpful. She lives in the next town over (5 minutes) and showed us some parks then took us out for dinner.
This is one of those times in life where everything just feels perfect. Right. Exactly how its supposed to be. Happy happy happy.

Sorry for the negative entries lately. I am stressed. Spencer is stressed. If I think about it too much, it gets bad. Im just trying to sortout my head.

Everything changed this year. But it changes every year.
I dont like getting my hopes up for nothing. I dont like look too far ahead because it could be completely different than I think its going to be.

We want the house in Cambellsport. Its an hour away. Almost exactly halfway between West Bend and Fond Du Lac. Its a really small town, population under 2,000. They have showed it to a lot of people but the one thing we have going for us is that we want to move NOW. If we go on Saturday and decide we love it, Im pretty sure we will get it. So I hope we love it.

Harper is getting more teeth, so he is miserable. Nothing makes him happy. It seems like we get a day or two of happy Harper, and then its back to screaming constantly. And nothing can make him stop. As I write this he is screaming like he is dying in his crib.

I have lost 10 pounds. I ran 7 miles yesterday with no problems from my knee, so that was good. Thank you knee.

I havent talked to Spencer's parents in awhile but based on what I hear from Spencer, his dad is being an ass so that is pissing me off now too. Saying stupid shit like "Well thats right in the middle of (some kind of fish) hunting season," (about our wedding) Well you know what, SORRY. If going fishing is more important to you than going to your sons wedding, THEN GO.

I not happy with how everything is going right now. Im not happy with how Im reacting to it.
