Heres our tree centerpieces for fall!

Realistically, missing from this picture is a big tray on the right full of random shit I find around the house that no one ever puts away. I just moved it out of the way for the picture....The boxes the trees are in fill up with mail, sunglasses, etc as well. 

I could add this onto Harper's section in the last post but Ill just leave it here instead..

Harper calls me mum mum/mama.

Harper calls Spencer mum mum/mama, too.

Were trying to teach him that Spencer is dada, so whenever he calls Spencer mama we point and say, "Dada!" 

Anyway, there was one time yesterday when Spencer was holding him and I walked over and he points at me and goes, "DADA!" 

Hmm.

We are home from the cabin!
It was almost 90* in our house last night. Ew. So thankful we spent the last week on or near water.
So Spencer went right away this morning to pick up a window AC unit from Kristan.

Its starting to kick in and already feels great. Thaaaank you Kristan!

Not sure when Ill start working on updates...

Unfortunately about a half hour ago the vision in my left eye went all funny. I had an annoying flashing row of "lights." Now the lights are gone but my vision is definitely off and I have a headache thats progressively getting worse. I do not feel good.

Im trying not to look up too much on Google, but I took some ibuprofen and am going to call my midwife or a nurse if it doesnt start getting better soon. 

I love our new bedding. I cant wait decorate our house more.

Im late on Harper's 7 month post because we have our doctors appointment on Friday and I want to wait til then to get all his stats.

My dress appointment went fine. They cut out the tulle and cut of the train while I was there. I love it more already! I have the train, hopefully Ill think of something neat to make out of it for memories.

We put up a few decorations in Harper's room, started our picture wall, and will probably do Alikah's tonight. Its going to take a looonngg time for me to get everything how I want it, though. One thing I hate about it is that the walls are not white. They are cream, but all the door and window frames and baseboards are white. Why?? But I know well end up painting most of them anyways.

Spencers been taking Alikah out in the snow and she LOVES it! Its adorable.

We're sleeping over at my parent all this weekend because on Friday I have a floral appointment and were going to the courthouse to get our wedding license. Then Sunday is my bridal shower! Seems pointless to drive back here for just one night.

Speaking of Bridal shower...I CANT BELIEVE HOW CLOSE WE ARE TO THE WEDDING. Omg all my confirmation emails are coming in and its actually really stressing me out because everyone wants me to call them and I hate talking on the phone and ahhh. And I have no fucking meds because my old doctors office is freaken stupid and like I said I dont have an appointment here until Friday. So that makes it even worse...

...which reminds me. I hate driving. But since Ive been off my meds it is almost unbearable. I gasp or scream or flinch every 30 seconds. (I dont drive, Spencer does) I hold my breathe without realizing it. I feel like Im going to throw up. Ugh. The last time I drove somewhere was when I drove the car and Spencer drove the U-Haul back, and it was seriously the most awful drive of my life. Im not even exaggerating when I saw I was literally screaming probably half the way there. And saying "ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod" and holding my breathe of course. When we finally got to the UHaul place I was shaking soooo badly and told Spencer I was never driving again.
So I guess its good we moved here and I can literally walk everywhere haha.
But it really isnt funny. It sucks being off meds. A lot.

Shelves

Not much better yet, but we covered up these random shelves between the kitchen/dining room with some curtains we took off the windows that we put new curtains on. They leave the bottom shelf open, so thats where all of our photo albums and scrapbooks will go. The space behind the curtains will be for storage. Those checkered top curtains in the background came with the house. These short white curtains came on every other window. Some are semi see-through, others arent. [Think Im going to change this and put solid white ones] We will probably be replacing most of them with long curtains. The play room and bathrooms will keep the short ones, for now at least :)

1/6/12

Today I..
-Finished cleaning the kitchen, dining room and downstairs bathroom. Well, besides the base boards.
-Got some new curtains up in the dining room.
-Moved my desk into the play-room.
-Vacuumed both staircases.
-Then braved the basement steps and some of the basement to vacuum it. Now I cant stop sneezing. And I probably got like 1% into it. I think it would take a whole day to complete. Or maybe a week. Ya!

errands

So busy! It started snowing 2 nights ago and snowed all though yesterday. Alikah played outside in the snow for awhile. While they napped I vacuumed and cleaned the floors in the play room and got that set up. Im not totally happy with it yet but like I said before I know Ill be re-arranging the house all the time ha. We have most of the boxes out of the dining room now, but 10 full of clothes are stacked up in our bedroom waiting to be put away. We are leaving in 10 minutes to go to Waukesha for the day. Spencer needs to go to his parents, Im gonna do like 3 loads of laundry at my parents, pick up RSVP's for our wedding and then we are going to Target and Kohls. I also want to try and talk to my Doctor and get my meds refilled once more.

ah la la

Ill do a Christmas post eventually. Maybe. Me right this second: Dying. Packing, packing, packing. We are going to our house today (Ill sleep on the way...maybe) so we can bring some more boxes and I can CLEAN! And then we have to pick Alikah up at 6 and go to Spencer's parents for more Christmas! I am exhausted. But its okay. I love my life right now.

Thursday 12/22 - Bringing boxes to the house with Heather, cleaning a little bit. Hopefully gym tonight.
Friday 12/23 - Back to house.(Cable set up between 1-3?) Make cookies and get gifts ready.
Christmas Eve - My aunts and Aunty Andy's, sleeping over at my parents house after.
Christmas - Open presents with whole family. Go to Jared&Holly's in Madison. Drop Alikah off at Nona's on the way home.

To-Do:
Get Fridge!! [x] Found one!
Register Mazda so we can get it up to the house.
Change mailing address.
If time - order pictures from Walgreens.
Call Dr.s office (refill at Harper's appt)
Harper's 6 months post.
Shower faucet.

January 5th - Baptism class for the kids.

Our new House!!!

upstairs hallway, all 3 bedrooms and big bathroom up stairsin love with this bathroom.living room. french doors open into another room that we will use as an office/playroom.
We are in love! Im going back tomorrow with Heather and the kids to bring the first load of boxes and clean a tiny bit.
Its in a tiny less than 2,000 population town, totally cute and reminds us both of Up North. The people we are renting/buying from are so nice and helpful. She lives in the next town over (5 minutes) and showed us some parks then took us out for dinner.
This is one of those times in life where everything just feels perfect. Right. Exactly how its supposed to be. Happy happy happy.
